Notes about the SKM file extension:
Incorrect file associations could be the result of underlying issues within your PC system. As such it is highly recommended to
scan your PC for invalid registry entries, unused processes and other unfavourable system settings to identify slowdown issues.
The SKM file type is primarily associated with 'SketchUp' by Google. Google SketchUp is software that you can use to create, modify and share 3D models. To convert a JPG file to SKM, in the Material browser, click the Create New Material button (the textured box with the plus sign icon in the upper right corner). From the Create Material dialog, check the Use texture image box and then navigate to where your image file is stored and select it. Adjust other settings and click OK when done. Your new texture will now show up on your In-Model library. You can right-click the new texture and select Save As... to save the new texture as an individual .SKM file, or you can save the entire library (which can be many created textures) as a folder or library by picking the Save Library As... command from the Material drop-down menu.
