TNT file format:
To find out what program is needed to open TNT files, you need to determine the file format. The file format can be deduced from the file extension and the signature. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. So a detailed analysis of a file is vital in order to determine the format and the associated program. Our evaluation of the TNT files is as follows:
TNT is not that commonly used as a file extension. This file type includes a lot of different file formats for different programs. The following file formats are most commonly found in TNT files:
- 15% of all TNT files start with the magic bytes TNT, which are always the first bytes of this file format. These are binary files, so they do not contain words or text. TNT files can be up to 3 MB in size, but are often around 34 KB - 1 MB. The files contain the following words: TNT1.005TMAG. Such files sometimes refer to slika and licl.
- 10% of all TNT files use the same file format, which have the signature GFF V4.0PC GFF V4.0. They consist of unreadable binary data. The average file size is 330 bytes with most files being between 330 bytes and 330 bytes in size. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as GFF V4.0PC GFF V4.0.
All the rest of the TNT files (75%) have different formats, the following 8 formats exist: xread and nstates. The category is embedded, data, cars, browser or matrix. Just click the "Choose your .tnt file to analyze" button on this page to find out what your TNT file is.
