What is a TPT file?

TPT file format:

Every file has a defined file format, i.e. how the data is arranged in the file. The initial characters of a file are called signature, sometimes also referred to as "magic bytes". The signature can be used to infer the file format. However, different programs can use the same file extension. Furthermore, a file extension can be renamed incorrectly and double-clicking on it will then display an error when it is opened. An TPT file covers a large number of different file formats. The two most popular formats are as follows:

The file name pat63_99.tpt or cite75_99.tpt is characteristic of these files. Files like these are about coname, inventor and match.
• 15% of all TPT files start with the bytes 00 00 00 00 DC 35 8A 91 crucial for this file format. If you open these files in a text editor, you can view and read the content yourself. The files are 32 KB to 2 MB in size, with a median of 200 KB. The files contain the following words: /><export mode="normal", creation date, encoding="utf-8"?><header><format version="2.1" and <?xml version="1.0". Some examples of file names are XI7_1_directory-objs.tpt. These files can be linked to objs, directory and nsps.

The remaining 65% of all TPT files are different files with different signatures, the following 10 formats can be found: ZIP, hdb, COMPRESSED, Version, SPC and eAd. Files like these are sometimes linked to trekk, soft, template, export, softpdftemplate, current, vorlage or google.
