How to open UPP files

Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. The file format can be deduced from the file extension and the signature. • 15% of all UPP files have the same signature CSM4.0 . They consist of unreadable binary data. The files are on average 58 KB in size and range from 11 KB to 120 KB. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. CSM4.0 and ?rcY. Some examples of file names are UPMA_Merge.UPP or converseOLDholeless.UPP. Such UPP files store data about merge, upma and uploads.
