What is a VPC file
How to open a VPC file
You need a suitable software like ProPresenter to open a VPC file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your VPC file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a VPC file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

VPC format details:
If you can determine the file format, the associated program can also be determined. The file format can be deduced from the file extension and the signature. However, different programs can use the same file extension. Furthermore, a file extension can be renamed incorrectly and double-clicking on it will then display an error when it is opened. If there are problems opening a file, you must first determine the file format used. In the following you will find our evaluation of the VPC files:
VPC is rarely used as a file extension and includes different formats for different programs. The following file formats are most commonly found in VPC files:
- 35% of all VPC files are based on the zip format, i.e. a VPC file contains several compressed files. VPC files contain from 1 to 4 compressed files. If you want to see the included files and images, simply rename the file extension to .zip and double-click it. The file size is in the range of 75 KB to 1 MB. The keywords json are typical for these files. These files are often associated with english, bible, tagalog, biblia and king.
- 15% of all VPC files start with the bytes 01 00 00 00, which are crucial for this file format. These files are binary files, so they do not contain text, but only cryptic characters. The files are 330 KB to 110 MB in size, with a median of 58 MB. bunny.vpc or HGV.vpc is a typical file name. Files like these are sometimes connected to leica.
All other VPC files (50%) have no uniform format, often e.g. Source, config and set. Files like these are sometimes linked to startup, voice or sales. Drag & drop your file here to see the file format and a preview of your VPC file!

How to solve problems with VPC files
- Associate the VPC file extension with the correct application.
- Update your software that should actually open project file containers. Because only the current version supports the latest VPC file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the manufacturer website after an available ProPresenter update.
- To make sure that your VPC file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
