• 50% of all VPX files utilize the Microsoft Compound File format, also known as Composite Document File format or OLE2 compound document format. • 20% of all VPX files start with the magic bytes ASWsetup, which are always the first bytes of this file format. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. The file size is in the range of 340 bytes to 11 KB. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. ASWsetupFPkgFile. The file name prod-pgm.vpx or servers.def.vpx is typical for these files. Files like these have the following tags: prod.
