How can I open an XFR file?

XFR file format:

The file format determines how the data is stored in the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). XFR is not a commonly used file extension and is used by different programs with different formats. The two most common formats are as follows:

• 25% of all XFR files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters ".xfr|" at the beginning. These files are text files and can therefore be read using a text editor. The files are 100 bytes to 4 KB in size, with a median of 490 bytes. The file type is very recent. The files contain the following words: -- Parts List --. All other XFR files (65%) have different formats, often e.g. Publisher's Type Foundry bitmap Font, GZIP, UTF-8 and UTF-16 (LE).
