What is a DMB file?

DMB files mostly belong to DataMan Setup Tool. The DMB file extension is used in several distinct ways.

How to open a DMB file

DMB file format:

Every file has a defined file format, i.e. how the data is arranged in the file. The initial characters of a file are called signature, sometimes also referred to as "magic bytes". The signature can be used to infer the file format. However, different programs can use the same file extension. Furthermore, a file extension can be renamed incorrectly and double-clicking on it will then display an error when it is opened. The DMB file extension is rather rarely used and is used by a few programs, each with its own file format. The following file formats are most commonly found in DMB files:

• 55% of all DMB files are based on the zip format, that is, a DMB file includes multiple compressed files.
