What is an EAP file?

EAP files mostly belong to Enterprise Architect by Sparx Systems Pty Ltd. EAP file extension is used by Enterprise Architect, a Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) program developed by Sparx Systems and is meant for designing and constructing software systems.

Main Use: Enterprise Architect uses EAP file extension to save project data. EAP files can be converted into PDF files using the File → Print to PDF from the main menu in the application. EAP file can also be converted into XMI (XML Metadata Interchange) format by navigating to PACKAGE → Import/Export Menu. On a Windows PC, The EAP files are generally found in the \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop\Presets\Exposure\ directory and are named as Minus 1.0, Minus 2.0, Plus 1.0, and Plus 2.0.

How to open an EAP file

You need a suitable software like Enterprise Architect to open an EAP file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
