What is an ELX file

ELX files mostly belong to iProjectNet. ELX Files have two distinct uses depending on their origin.

iProject Electrical Project file: This type is used by iProjectNet to store electrical design data. It may include wiring layouts, panel details, and other project specifications. Opening these files requires the dedicated iProjectNet application.

Firmware update package: Some ELX files are compressed using the ZIP format. They serve as firmware updates for Electrolux products. You can open these with any standard archive tool such as 7-Zip or WinZip. For more detailed information on the ZIP standard, refer to PKWARE.
