What is a GDOC file?

GDOC files mostly belong to Docs by Google. A GDOC file is a document created with the Docs document authoring and editing software developed by Google. Another type of GDOC file is a JSON-encoded text file which points to a Docs document saved in Drive cloud-based file storage solution.
