What is a GPR file?

GPR files mostly belong to Glossary Builder by Babylon. The GPR file is primarily associated with the GenePix Pro that is used for analysis of biological experiments. This file format was developed by Molecular Devices and these are basic binary data files.

Main Usage: The data gathered by biological experiment is saved in GPR files for further analysis. The data processed during analysis is also stored in GPR files along with results of experiment conducted by GenePix Microarray Systems.

8% of all GPR files start with the bytes B7 73 9B 13 9C 77 20 A3 43 AE 0D 03 59 FB 95 6A crucial for this file format. If you open these files in a text editor, you will see only illegible characters. The files are on average 960 KB in size and range from 79 KB to 970 KB. The files contain the following words: Rc;B.
