What is an ISO file?

ISO files mostly belong to Roxio Creator by Corel. An ISO file is a 2D/3D technical illustration or an animation created with IsoDraw technical illustration software. The file usually contains assembly instructions required to print a 3D model. Another type of ISO file is a read-only file system used to store data on an optical disc. Various ISO flavors (e.g. Apple ISO 9660 with macOS-specific properties and the Unix-based Rock Ridge flavor) have been implemented for different operating systems. How do you open ISO files?
