What is a JD file?

JD files mostly belong to JDownloader. JD files are used in several specific ways. In many cases, these files store Java decompiler output. This means they contain source‐like code generated from compiled Java bytecode. At other times, the files are used by JDownloader as a download list. In that use, they hold download links and related information to manage file transfers.
Some instances of JD files serve as an output format for Android documentation (Javadoc) or even contain JSON data that describes 3D model geometry.

If the content shows Java code structures or code comments, it is likely decompiler output.
If you see a list of URLs or download parameters, it is a JDownloader download list.
If the file starts with JSON brackets, it may describe geometry data.
