What is an MFL file?

MFL files mostly belong to mofcomp.

MFL files come in two common forms. One form is used by Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) as a MOF compiler file. These files are stored in UTF-16 (LE) encoding and are processed by the Windows MOF compiler tool (mofcomp) to load definitions for system objects. The second form is known as the Mozilla FastLoad file. In this case, the file is used internally by Mozilla Firefox to aid in rapid loading of certain resources.
