What is a TLP file?

TLP files mostly belong to Bitvise SSH Client. TLP files are not a single file type but a group of files defined by the software that creates them. In most cases, a TLP file is a Bitvise SSH Client connection profile used by Bitvise Tunnelier. This file stores the settings for a secure SSH connection, such as host names, port numbers, and keys.
Other variants exist:

How to open a TLP file

You need a suitable software like Bitvise SSH Client to open a TLP file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
