What is a TRN file?

TRN files mostly belong to SQL Server by Microsoft. Microsoft SQL server stores transaction logs in TRN file format for database. TRN file stores all completed and pending transactions since last checkpoint set by user. TRN is a backup file which stores database backup. How to open a TRN file
