What is a DBC file

DBC files mostly belong to CANanalyzer by Vector. The DBC file extension is used to store 3D shaders created using DAZ Studio, a 3D modelling software. DAZ Studio's Shader Mixer feature provides an API for creating DBC files which contain definitions for how 3D objects are shaded in specific scenes when viewed by the virtual camera. DBC file extension is also associated with file formats used by several database management software. Visual FoxPro, a database development system for Windows stores database files using DBC file extension. PROGNOSIS, a system performance monitoring software also uses DBC extension to store databases. How to open DBC files

You need a suitable software like CANanalyzer to open a DBC file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
