What is a DHP file?

DHP files mostly belong to D+H furnplan. The DHP file extension is used by different programs to store design and configuration data in specialized fields.

How do you open DHP files?

You need a suitable software like D+H furnplan to open a DHP file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. The DHP file extension is rather rarely used and covers different formats for different programs. However, the following two file formats are common:

• 40% of all DHP files use the same file format, which have the signature .DHP. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. The average file size is 44 KB with most files being between 14 KB and 120 KB in size. These files are often associated with furnplan, and have often person-related content.

The remaining 30% of all DHP files are different files with different signatures, the following 4 formats can be found: JSON and PHD. These files sometimes refer to parameters, patch or mini.
