ESH file format:

The file format determines how the data is stored in the file. The file format can be determined based on the file extension and the signature (the first few characters of a file). File extension, signature and file format must match; otherwise errors will occur when the file is opened. Exact knowledge of the format is therefore important in order to solve problems occurring in files. Our examination of the ESH files comes to the following conclusion:

ESH is rarely used as a file extension and includes different formats for the applicable programs. The following file formats are most commonly found in ESH files:

• 60% of all ESH files store the data in the .NET file format. The .NET format is used to save Microsoft .NET Framework objects to a file (ex. save game state as file) via object serialization. Such a .NET object may contain functions and data like settings, images or videos. If you open these files in a text editor, you can view the contents and find segments of text. ESH files can be up to 42 KB in size, but are often around 240 bytes - 37 KB. The file type was created recently. • 20% of all ESH files are using the well-known shell script file format to store the data. A shell script is a text file that contains shell commands for a UNIX-based operating system. ESH files are between 13 KB and 23 KB in size.
