The FXT file type is primarily associated with FaceFX.
What is an FXT file?
How to open FXT files
You need a suitable software like FaceFX to open an FXT file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your FXT file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a FXT file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

FXT format details:
To view or edit FXT files you need to know the file format, because it determines how the data in this file is stored. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). If the file extension or signature does not match the file format, errors will occur when opening or editing the file. If there are problems opening a file, you must first determine the file format used. Our evaluation of the FXT files is as follows:
An FXT file includes different formats for the applicable programs. But the following two file formats are common:
- 25% of all FXT files have the same signature 95 01 00 00. The content consists of illegible binary data, which can only be read and interpreted by the associated programs. The files are 950 KB to 1 GB in size, with a median of 120 MB. The file type was developed only in the last few years. The keywords Copyright, MetaQuotes Software, MetaQuotes Software Corp, Demo and EURU are typical for these files. Some examples of file names are EURUSD5_0.fxt or EURUSD15_0.fxt. Such FXT files store data about gbpusd, xauusd and gbpjpy.
- 9% of all FXT files use the same file format, which have the signature # Created with FXT. The content also consists of readable text fragments, which can be viewed with the help of a text editor. The files are often between 180 bytes and 4 KB in size. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as # Seemann rocks for creating Sanny Builder and CLEO, # Created with FXT-Editor 0.1 by WordsBG and # --------------.
All other FXT files (66%) have no uniform format, frequently e.g. Grand Theft Auto Fake Text, CHT and CSPWN. Tagged as weapon, carspawn, text, spawner, steel, aluminium, stainless, english, robbery, vehicle, tuning, cheat, gtavc, store or hole. If you want to find out which format your FXT file belongs to, just click on the button "Choose your .fxt file to analyze".
