What is an FXA file
FXA files mostly belong to FaceFX by OC3. A file with FXA filename extension is a 3D model created with version 1.0 to 1.7.x of FaceFX, a software used to create 3D facial animations from audio files. However, the data in a FXA file is not FaceFX-specific because other 3D modelling tools like Maya have FaceFX plugins for opening FXA files. The typical data you will find in a FXA file include the position of 3-dimensional facial bones, hyperlinks to animations and external assets, and face graph nodes. How to open FXA files

The files are on average 41 KB in size and range from 7 KB to 92 KB. The following keywords are characteristic: FXA, 3D Studio Max 8, regular commercial version, Mar 1 2005 and 01_Weapon. These files are often associated with knife.
