FXA format details:
If you know the file format, you can also find out how to open or edit the file. The initial characters of a file are called signature, sometimes also referred to as "magic bytes". The signature can be used to infer the file format. File extension, signature and file format must match; otherwise errors will occur when the file is opened. So a detailed analysis of a file is vital in order to determine the format and the associated program. Our evaluation of the FXA files is as follows:
The FXA file extension is rarely used and includes various formats for various programs. The two most common formats are as follows:
- 45% of all FXA files belong to The Saboteur Face Animations. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. The files are on average 33 KB in size and range from 8 KB to 100 KB. The file type is relatively new. The following keywords are characteristic: FACE, FxObject, FxActor, FxBone, FxCompiledFaceGraph, FxAnim and FxMasterBoneList. Some examples of file names are adrian_sutil.fxa or Female.fxa. These files can be linked to portrait, facefx, sutil, joker and head, and often consist of personal data.
- 20% of all FXA files start with the magic bytes FXA , which are always the first bytes of this file format. These are binary files, so they do not contain words or text. The files are on average 41 KB in size and range from 7 KB to 92 KB. The following keywords are characteristic: FXA, 3D Studio Max 8, regular commercial version, Mar 1 2005 and 01_Weapon. These files are often associated with knife.
All other FXA files (35%) have different formats. If you want to find out what your FXA file contains, drag and drop it onto this page.
