GMA files mostly belong to Garry's Mod by FacePunch. A GMA file is an add-on containing a modification package for Garry's Mod (commonly called GMod) physics sandbox video game. How can I open a GMA file?

You need a suitable software like Garry's Mod to open a GMA file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
