How do you open GNT files?

You need a suitable software like Genifer Programming to open a GNT file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. The GNT file extension is used by a few programs, each with its own file format. But the following two file formats are common:

• 30% of all GNT files start with the bytes 00 4D 52 4E 47 4E 54 00, which are crucial for this file format. They consist of unreadable binary data. The files are 17 KB to 250 KB in size, with a median of 50 KB. It is a modern file type. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. .data, .text, MRNGNT, .bss and .eh_frame. • 25% of all GNT files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "39 03 03 00" at the beginning. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. GNT files can be up to 1 MB in size, but are often around 7 KB - 240 KB. The following keywords are characteristic: .bss, .data and .text.
