Opening an MPF File
The MPF file type is primarily associated with Office.
What is an MPF file
MPF files mostly belong to Office by Microsoft. MPF filename extension is associated with compressed media package files containing clip art images, keywords, and tags which are used by the Clip Oragnizer or Design Gallery utilities bundled with Office, a productivity software suite developed by Microsoft. Such MPF files are often called Media Package Files. Clip arts extracted from MPF files typically have WMF filename extension. MPF filename extension is also associated with patch files created with the Generator component in MADRIX, a Windows-based light control software. MainActor, a discontinued video editing/conversion software used MPF filename extension to save video project settings. MosASCII, an outdated software which was used to convert images to colored HTML mosaics made out of ASCII characters used MPF files to save and load projects. MPF is also a specialized audio compression format which is both backward and forward compatible with MP3, WAV, and CD files. This MPF audio format appears to be discontinued.
How to open MPF files
You need a suitable software like Office to open an MPF file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
