MMB file format details:
The file format, which is the arrangement and type of data in a file, determines which program can open the file. The file format can be deduced from the file extension and the signature. However, different programs can use the same file extension. Furthermore, a file extension can be renamed incorrectly and double-clicking on it will then display an error when it is opened. Exact knowledge of the format is therefore important in order to solve problems occurring in files. Our analysis of the MMB files produces the following result:
The MMB file ending includes various formats for various programs. However, the following two file formats are common:
- 55% of all MMB files save the data in SQL file format. An SQL file contains a lightweight SQLite database, widely used in application development for storing application related data. These files contain neither text nor words, but only data. The files are on average 260 KB in size and range from 70 KB to 390 KB. The file type is relatively new. The files contain the following words: SQLite format 3. Some examples of file names are Northern.mmb. Such MMB files store data about update, money, budget, data, mmex and troskovi.
- 10% of all MMB files use the same file format, which have the signature MMB. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. The files are on average 400 KB in size and range from 13 KB to 2 MB. The files contain the following words: upperBody.
All other MMB files (35%) have different formats, frequently e.g. ZIP, ROS and PFM. Sometimes used for menu, head, booklet, nolmis or base. If you want to find out which format your MMB file belongs to, just click on the button "Choose your .mmb file to analyze".
