What is a MOHO file?

MOHO files mostly belong to MOHO Pro. MOHO files are project files that store animation data created with MOHO Pro. They use an ZIP container format to compress and bundle all the key elements of an animation project.
These files hold various pieces of information such as:

Animation assets: drawings, vector elements and rigging details.

Timeline settings: keyframes and sequencing data.

Configuration files: settings and resource information used by the software.

How do you open MOHO files?

You need a suitable software like MOHO Pro to open a MOHO file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your MOHO file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a MOHO file directly in the browser:. MOHO file format:

The file format, which is the arrangement and type of data in a file, determines which program can open the file. A file format is determined by the file extension and signature, so JPEG images have the extension .jpg and the first bytes in the file are ÿØÿ. File extension, signature and file format must match; otherwise errors will occur when the file is opened. Knowledge is power - this also applies when dealing with unknown or faulty files. Our examination of the MOHO files comes to the following conclusion:

The MOHO file extension is rarely used and mainly uses a special format. But the following two file formats are common:

• 96% of all MOHO files use the ZIP algorithm, multiple files are compressed and combined into one MOHO file. A MOHO file contains 1 to 2 files, the average being 2. File names inside are Project.mohoproj and preview.jpg. If you want to see the included files and images, simply rename the file extension to .zip and double-click it.
