What is an NC1 file?

NC1 files mostly belong to Tekla Structures by Trimble. An NC1 file contains CNC commands which control machine tools in computer-aided steel fabrication, cutting, and drilling applications. It comprises toolpaths, coordinates, part faces, as well as laser cutting, drilling, and nesting instructions saved in in the DSTV format developed by Deutsche Stahlbau-Verband steel construction association.
