What is a PSW file?

PSW files mostly belong to PaintShop by Corel. A PSW file contains a user's password reset key for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. This file contains encrypted data saved on a portable disk which allows a user to reset the password of a locked account. Another type of PSW file is a straw wall preset used by PaintShop photo editing application. PSW is also the filename extension of a data file used by Print Shop Deluxe desktop publishing and page layout design software.

How to open PSW files

You need a suitable software like PaintShop to open a PSW file.
