What is a QSF file

QSF files mostly belong to Customer Surveys by Qualtrics. QSF file is a data file which is generated by the Qualtrics Online survey application. QSF files are formatted in XML and when user select the export survey option the application generates data file in QSF format. User can export the QSF file for later use.

How do you open QSF files?

You need a suitable software like Customer Surveys to open a QSF file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your QSF file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a QSF file directly in the browser:. A file format defines how the data in the file is structured. QSF is a very commonly used file extension and mainly uses a defined QSF format. But the following two file formats are common:

• 85% of all QSF files save the data in JSON file format. JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a lightweight data−interchange format. It is easy for humans to read and write. It is easy for machines to parse and generate. The contents of these files are easily readable with a text editor. The files are on average 60 KB in size and range from 12 KB to 410 KB. It is a modern file type. The files contain the following words: SurveyEntry, SurveyID, SurveyName, SurveyDescription, SurveyOwnerID, null, SurveyBrandID and DivisionID. Such files sometimes refer to survey, qualtrics, study, template, covid, questionnaire, qtncvv and project.
• 5% of all QSF files use the same file format, which have the signature # ------------------------------------------------. If you open these files in a text editor, you can view and read the content yourself. Most of these files are 2 KB to 6 KB in size. All other QSF files (10%) have different formats, often, for example, Micrografx QuickSilver graphic plugin, Quintessential Player Family Skin, config and QSHd.
