• 30% of all SNMM files are based on the well-known SAMSUNG file format. The file is a SAMSUNG Kies backup file, used to backup and recover from Samsung devices using Kies. Samsung has released new software to replace Kies, named Samsung Smart Switch, which is mainly directed at migrating customers onto new Samsung devices. They consist of illegible, cryptic characters. The files are on average 2 MB in size and range from 510 KB to 14 MB. The file name sdoc.snmm or hashtag.snmm is typical for these files.
