Opening SXC Files

What is an SXC file?
How do you open SXC files?
You need a suitable software like Calc to open an SXC file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your SXC file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a SXC file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

- Calc (spreadsheet) by OracleCalc is a spreadsheet processor bundled with the discontinued StarOffice productivity suite. It saves a spreadsheet in an SXC file. This file format is classified as Spreadsheet.
- HPXView (configuration) by HaliplexHPXView is a discontinued program used to manage Haliplex products such as the HPX-1600 and Cross Connect network switches. It saves the configuration of a Cross Connect switch in an SXC file. This file format is classified as Settings.
SXC file format details:
Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. The file format can be deduced from the file extension and the signature. File extension, signature and file format must match; otherwise errors will occur when the file is opened. If there are problems opening a file, you must first determine the file format used. Our analysis of the SXC files produces the following result:
The file type with the extension 'SXC' mainly uses a special format. The file formats most commonly found in SXC files are:
- 95% of all SXC files use the ZIP algorithm, so several files are compressed and saved in one SXC file. The number of files included is on average 16 and ranges from 6 to 16. File names are e.g. content.xml, meta.xml, mimetype, settings.xml, styles.xml, \Configurations2\, \Configurations2\accelerator\current.xml, \Configurations2\floater\, \Configurations2\images\, \Configurations2\images\Bitmaps\, \Configurations2\menubar\, \Configurations2\popupmenu\, \Configurations2\progressbar\, \Configurations2\statusbar\, \Configurations2\toolbar\, \META-INF\manifest.xml and \Thumbnails\thumbnail.png. A little tip: If you rename the file extension to .zip and then double-click, you will see the included files and images. The average file size is 19 KB with most files being between 7 KB and 77 KB in size. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. mimetypeapplication/vnd.sun.xml.calcPK and Configurations2/accelerator/current.xml. Files like these are about report, financials, purchase, superior, ferman, form, list, expenses and odpad.
All other SXC files (5%) have no uniform format. Files like these are sometimes linked to annexureiii or hard. You can get all the details of your SXC file by dragging it onto this page or by clicking the button "Choose your .sxc file to view" above.

- To make sure that your SXC file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
- Click here to open your .SXC file online - secure, fast, and no downloads needed.
