What is a TLW file

TLW files mostly belong to TLW Viewer / Camtasia. Test Log Waveform files (TLW) are used mainly to store data from electronic test instruments. How to open a TLW file

Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. TLW file format:

Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. A file format is determined by the file extension and signature, so JPEG images have the extension .jpg and the first bytes in the file are ÿØÿ. If the file extension does not match the file format, double-clicking on the file will cause an error upon opening. • 20% of all TLW files start with the bytes ENC9 crucial for this file format. They consist of unreadable binary data. The files are 9 MB to 110 MB in size, with a median of 70 MB. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. ENC9. Such files sometimes refer to overview, intro and course.
