What is a TTX file?

TTX files mostly belong to TRADOS Studio by SDL. A TTX file is an XML-encoded file created by the TagEditor in TRADOS Studio document translation software. TTX is also the filename extension of the TrueType font format native to ttx font manipulation tool. Another type of TTX file contains connection data used by Crystal Reports reporting application. How do you open TTX files?

You need a suitable software like TRADOS Studio to open a TTX file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
