What is a VP3 file?

VP3 files mostly belong to PREMIERE+ by Pfaff. VP3 filename extension is associated with On2's TrueMotion VP3 bitstream format used to stream videos over the Internet. Videos stored in VP3 files are encoded using the VP3 codec which supports variable and constant bitrate compression.
