What is a BSD file

BSD files mostly belong to ISE Design Suite by Xilinx. The BSD file format is used by Facetwin as a backup file. BSD stands for Backup Set Description.

Main Use: FacetWin provides server software which makes UNIX server resources accessible for a Windows network computer thereby allowing the UNIX environment to be run in a Windows environment. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
