What is a CZP file?

CZP files mostly belong to OpenText Exstream. CZP files are not a single type of file but a label used for several different file formats. The most common use is for an encrypted PDF ebook created by OpenText Exstream. This file holds digital book content in PDF form with encryption to protect it.
Other uses include:

Compressed archive: some are ZIP-based files used by Comatic for their proprietary data, often linked to ERP systems.

Game profile: some serve as player profiles for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, holding in-game settings and statistics. They can be managed by game tools.

Simulation data: Some are used by applications such as Crocodile Physics 6.0 or Circuit Construction Kit AC/DC Lab to store simulation or circuit data.

CZP file format:

Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. The initial characters of a file are called signature, sometimes also referred to as "magic bytes". The signature can be used to infer the file format. However, different programs can use the same file extension. If you'd like to see the images and files included, just rename the file extension to .zip and double-click. CZP files can be up to 1 MB in size, but are often around 8 KB - 1 MB. The following keywords are characteristic: de-ch. Files like these have the following tags: comaticerp, tectis, time and comatichr.
