D1 file format details:
Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. The first characters in a file identify the file format, for example, HTML files start with the bytes <html>. If the file extension or signature does not match the file format, errors will occur when opening or editing the file. So you need a detailed analysis of a file to find out the format and the associated program. In the following you will find our evaluation of the D1 files:
D1 is rarely used as a file extension and includes different formats for different programs. The following file formats are most commonly found in D1 files:
- 45% of all D1 files have the same signature 00 00 00 00. The content consists of illegible binary data, which can only be read and interpreted by the associated programs. D1 files are between 780 KB and 1 GB in size. The file type was created 10 years ago, but is still used today. These files can be linked to empty.
- 10% of all D1 files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "CITIFILE A.01.00 #NA VERSION HP87" at the beginning. These files are plain text, which means they can be viewed with any text editor such as Windows Editor, Nano for Linux, and TextEdit for macOS. The files are often between 4 KB and 5 KB in size. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. CITIFILE A.01.00, NAME DATA, SEG_LIST_BEGIN, SEG_LIST_END, VAR FREQ MAG 201, #NA VERSION HP8753D.06.14, DATA S[2,2] RI and SEG 1000000 50000000 201.
The remaining 45% of all D1 files are files with no common format, frequently e.g. EEG. These files are often connected to data. If you want to find out which format your D1 file belongs to, just click on the button "Choose your .d1 file to analyze".
