What is a DPE file?

DPE files mostly belong to Disk Protect Plus. *DPE files* have several roles depending on who creates them.
They can be used as an encrypted document container with Disk Protect Plus. This means the file holds data in a sealed, password-protected format.

Another role is as a dielectric test data file used by the DPE Analyzer to store measurement data related to ferroelectric hysteresis.

How do you open DPE files?

You need a suitable software like Disk Protect Plus to open a DPE file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
