What is an ECA file?

ECA files mostly belong to Various specialized tools. The ECA file extension is used by different software tools and does not refer to one single format.

Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature).
