What is an EDX file?

EDX files mostly belong to EDrawMax by EDrawSoft. An EDX file is a two-dimensional drawing created by EDrawMax technical drawing and flowcharting software. It contains XML-encoded layouts, shapes, text, and references to objects (spreadsheets and embedded OLE objects) which make up a drawing. Drawings saved in EDX files are usually mind maps or flowcharts. Another type of EDX file contains a workflow protocol used by the MAGNETOM Aera medical imaging equipment. PADS integrated electronic system design and management environment uses an EDX file to store an electronic part. How do you open EDX files?

You need a suitable software like EDrawMax to open an EDX file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
