What is a FAR file?

FAR files mostly belong to Zone 3D by FARO. FAR filename extension is mainly associated with a forensic diagram, simulation, or report created with Zone 2D or Zone 3D forensics research software developed by FARO. A FAR file created with Zone 2D only contains 2D diagrams or simulations (of blood spatter, vehicle crash etc.), measurments, and forensic reports recreating a scene. How do you open FAR files?

You need a suitable software like Zone 3D to open a FAR file.
