How do you open GAB files?

You need a suitable software like G-PROG to open a GAB file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. To view or edit GAB files you need to know the file format, because it determines how the data in this file is stored. • 8% of all GAB files internally utilize the JetDB file format. The JetDB is a database format often used by Microsoft Access and Visual Basic programs. JET is short for Joint Engine Technology. They consist of illegible, cryptic characters. The file size is in the range of 460 KB to 4 MB. The keywords Standard Jet DB are typical for these files.
