How to open a GDR file
You need a suitable software like CardExchange to open a GDR file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. - 15% of all GDR files start with the magic bytes 8C A6 61 75 74 68 6F 72, which are always the first bytes of this file format. If you open these files in a text editor, you can view the contents and find segments of text. The files are often between 4 KB and 49 KB in size. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. author, coins, description, down, duration, frame, framerate, gameVersion, inputs, name and version.
All other GDR files (55%) have different formats, frequently e.g. XML, author and GeoDraw. Often described as design, badge, employee, mylittle, workbook, circles, formato, sakupen, tidal or nine.
