How to open KRN files

Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. Each file format has a unique extension and almost always a unique signature. For example, Microsoft Word documents have the extension .docx and the signature (usually the first 3 characters in this file) PK. • 35% of all KRN files start with the bytes BIKi crucial for this file format. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. KRN files can be up to 64 KB in size, but are often around 490 bytes - 19 KB. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as **kern, !!!YEM: Copyright 1995, estate of Helmut Schaffrath, *ICvox, *Ivox, !!!ARE: Europa, Mitteleuropa and Deutschland. The following filename is common: deut0567.krn or deut3663.krn. Such files sometimes refer to tsroot.
