What is an MSL file

MSL files mostly belong to Visual Studio by Microsoft. An MSL file is an entity data model which defines the relationship between a conceptual schema and a store schema for SQL database objects. This file is written in the XML-based Map Specification Language used by the Entity Framework bundled with .NET framework. Another type of MSL file is a script used to automate custom image editing and conversion tasks in ImageMagick image editor/converter. MSL files used by ImageMagick are written in magick-script scripting language.
