Opening a PRJX File

The PRJX file type is primarily associated with ECU tuning.

What is a PRJX file?

PRJX files mostly belong to ECU tuning. PRJX files are project configuration files used by several programs for storing detailed settings.

ECU Tuning Data: These files can hold tuning configurations used by engine control units. For example, some PRJX files store calibration parameters and CDI maps for systems like the Aracer RC2 Super piggyback ECU and BRT Juken 5+ engine maps.

How to open PRJX files

You need a suitable software like ECU tuning to open a PRJX file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. These files are text files and can therefore be read using a text editor. Most of these files are 50 KB to 53 KB in size. The file type was developed only in the last few years. The following keywords are characteristic: Z7cjodUT2rgUv3hQbDZQefqioCPe+PVj/MWbWmSrAt/zQDaFgEyL9/eTIwdKFH2X. The file name CRF PAKET TRABAS1 INJKTR STDR,KNALPOT RACING.prjx or N MAX PSTON 63 INJ STDR KLEP 2219.prjx is typical for these files. Such PRJX files store data about stdr, injktr, knalpot, racing, trabas, paket, spek and klep.
• 20% of all PRJX files start with the magic bytes RDxM26HF+fYVuOOJfRM0KH4kbdTAjrlSUI/JAyST/S2BxpRh3J, which are always the first bytes of this file format. These files are text files and can therefore be read using a text editor. PRJX files can be up to 47 KB in size, but are often around 46 KB - 47 KB.
