How do you open AGR files?

The file format determines how the data is stored in the file. The file format can be deduced from the file extension and the signature. You will often come across the AGR file type. This includes different formats for different programs. But the following two file formats are common:

• 45% of all AGR files belong to Grace project. These files contain text and words, not binary data. AGR files can be up to 9 MB in size, but are often around 11 KB - 360 KB. • 8% of all AGR files start with the bytes @with g0 @ xaxis label " crucial for this file format. The contents of these files can even be read by a human. The files are often between 6 KB and 2 MB in size. The following keywords are characteristic: @ legend 0.2, 0.995, @ legend char size 0.60, @ yaxis label "", @target G0.S0, @type xy, @with g0, s0 legend, @ xaxis label "Frame" and 1.000   0.0000. The file name rmsd1.agr or cpopvtime.agr is typical for these files. These files can be linked to hist and dist.
