How can I open a QPS file?

You need a suitable software like ASiQwin to open a QPS file. Why is it important to know the file format? This is the only way to find out which program to use to open the file. The file format can be determined based on the file extension and the signature (the first few characters of a file). Nonetheless, different programs can utilize the same file extension to represent distinct file formats. Double-clicking on the file often results in an error when opening. The QPS file type includes different formats for different programs. However, the following two file formats are common:

• 65% of all QPS files start with the bytes QBINa crucial for this file format. These files are binary files, so they do not contain text, but only cryptic characters. • 20% of all QPS files utilize the Microsoft Compound File format, also known as Compound File Binary File format (CFBF or CFB) or OLE2 Compound Document format. Microsoft Compound File is a complex container format used by some versions of Microsoft Office and other Windows-centric applications. It has features similar to those of a filesystem format. The first 8 bytes of the CFB format are D0CF11E0A1B11AE1 (which looks like "DOCFILE"). The file contains several sections which are named like DocumentInfo and InPage300. QPS files can be up to 13 MB in size, but are often around 28 KB - 3 MB. Files like these have the following tags: para, and include person-related information.
