What is a USK file?

USK files mostly belong to Game Editor. USK files are game-related data files used to store skill configurations, macro sequences, and other game-specific settings.
In some cases, they serve as Lineage II skill files, holding information on character abilities and progression.
Other USK files function as SendKeys macro files in SA-MP, where they define keystroke macros to automate in-game actions.

How to open USK files

USK file format:

The file format determines how the data is stored in the file. Each file format has a unique extension and almost always a unique signature. For example, Microsoft Word documents have the extension .docx and the signature (usually the first 3 characters in this file) PK. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. Knowledge is power - this also applies when dealing with unknown or faulty files. The following keywords are characteristic: textBox1, [SendKeys], textBox2, textBox3, textBox4, textBox5, textBox6, textBox7, textBox8, textBox10 and textBox9. A usual file name is MyKeyBinds.usk or TestFile.usk. These files can be linked to binds and mykey.

All other USK files (35%) have no consistent format, often e.g. Unreal and NIFL. These files are often connected to reboot, wellinton, heal, azul, skills or virus.
